INDUSTRIAL INSPECTOR PE (Pressurized Equipment)

Purpose of the position :

Establish, manage and implement surveillance actions for pressure equipment monitored by the Inspection Department.

The position, which reports directly to the head of the SIR (Recognized Inspection Service), must be held in compliance with the internal regulations, the safety rules of the site and the department, as well as the HSE instructions specific to the position and defined in the single document.

Key Activities :

Recommend constructive requirements, controls, verifications and hold points during calls for tender and orders for equipment acquisition.

Carry out or have carried out the follow-up of these requirements at the manufacturers or on the site.

Carry out or have carried out the acceptance of equipment before delivery or availability.

Be the main contact for the operating staff (manufacturing and maintenance) of the assigned equipment and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.

Organize and initiate the regulatory controls or those defined in the inspection plans in relation to the operators by being the interlocutor of the subcontracted control bodies.

Write the documents and records corresponding to the activities mentioned.

Create files and participate in the development of inspection plans for new equipment. Update the files and inspection plans of existing equipment by defining or adapting the potential and observed degradation modes linked to the operating conditions of this equipment.

Organize and participate in periodic meetings between the Maintenance and Inspection departments.

Carry out or arrange for the carrying out of monitoring actions defined in the inspection plans such as : periodic inspection, visual examination, hydraulic test, radiographic control, search for defects by ultrasound...

Recommend technical requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the repair or modification of equipment. Validate the operations related to the interventions and give the authorization to put the equipment back into service.

Graduate in Boilermaking or Industrial Mechanics or equivalent experience (Bac +2 or Bac +3).

Job opening : Immediatly

Gross annual remuneration according to experience :

Between 33 000€ and 42 000 euros Gross (excluding profit-sharing, CE, transport bonus)

Schedule : Daytime rhythm.
